Basic Instinct 2 movie

Novelist Catherine Tramell is once again in trouble with the law, and Scotland Yard appoints psychiatrist Dr. Michael Glass to evaluate her. Though, like Detective Nick Curran before him, Glass is entranced by Tramell and lured into a seductive game.

The film was directed by Michael Caton-Jones and produced by Moritz Borman, Mario Kassar and Andrew G. Vajna. The screenplay was written by Leora Barish and Henry Bean.

It stars Sharon Stone, who reprises her role as Catherine Tramell, as well as David Morrissey and David Thewlis.The film follows novelist Catherine Tramell, who is once again in trouble with the authorities. Scotland Yard proceeds to appoint psychiatrist Dr. Michael Glass to evaluate her. Like Detective Nick Curran, Glass becomes a victim of Tramells seductive games.The film was shot in London from April to August 2005. After being in development hell for a number of years, the film was released on March 31, 2006. The film was not as well received as its predecessor and fell short of commercial expectations.Plans for a 3rd film have (at this time) been scrapped due to the films poor box office reception.Tagline: Everything interesting begins in the mind.
