"Quantum of Solace" will be the 22nd official film in the James Bond franchise and the second to star Daniel Craig as Ian Flemings British secret agent, James Bond. The film will be produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, and directed by Marc Forster. The film will be released worldwide by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer & Columbia Pictures.

Originally scheduled for a May 2 2008 release, it has been pushed back to November 7 2008 to give the producers more time to complete the film.Pre-production work on Bond 22 was already under way before filming of Casino Royale began in January 2006, according to an announcement by Michael G.
