Among those shows were Taxi, Kojak, Threes Company, and The Ropers. In an early TV job, an ad for Avis rent-a-car, he was seen running (huffing and puffing) through an airport, mocking O.J. Simpsons "Go, O.J., go!" ads for Hertz. Later on in his career, he would have success starring in The Larry Sanders Show as co-host Hank Kingsley. Tambor received a total of four Emmy nominations for his role on the show. In 2003, he starred in the television comedy Arrested Development in a dual role as twin brothers, "George Bluth Sr." and "Oscar Bluth." Tambor received two more Emmy nominations for his performances.Tambor has announced for the game show Hollywood Squares in 2002 and 2003.
